I'm still working on comic stuff i can't show at the moment but i'm trying to do at least some digi-thinghy every week. Can't wait to show you what i've been working on!

Quick studies

Here's some studies from the last couple of weeks, i'm trying to get in the habit of doing these 

every morning before work. Trying to improve my confidence with values.

I'll have to find the time to do some longer studies to improve my rendering too!

I did this little digital sketch yesterday night, trying to get a more painterly look and trying to keep it real simple. As you might have guessed, i really like robots.

closer to my pencil sketching style. Rough and dirty, but fun! This one was also inspired by Arash Radkia's awesome digital sketches.

Got a bit lost in the crosshatching on this one, it was fun.

Inspired by works of Mark A.Nelson and William Stout- those guys were way more brave than me and actually spotted blacks and used a nib- i'll get there eventually...
