Wonky Robot

I did this little digital sketch yesterday night, trying to get a more painterly look and trying to keep it real simple. As you might have guessed, i really like robots.

Here's a quick digital experiment - I'm trying to find a digital/painting workflow for concepts that is

closer to my pencil sketching style. Rough and dirty, but fun! This one was also inspired by Arash Radkia's awesome digital sketches.

Got a bit lost in the crosshatching on this one, it was fun.

Inspired by works of Mark A.Nelson and William Stout- those guys were way more brave than me and actually spotted blacks and used a nib- i'll get there eventually...
