Ghoul

A Lovecraftian Ghoul getting ready to chew on your flesh.

Tried some new things (namely a tidier digital workflow).Learnt  couple of new things but i'll need to do some proper studies to make the next one better, the switch from thinking in lines to thinking in light and color is something i still struggle with.

Now that i've finished working on Madadh (see previous post), i'm working on
"S.H.A.R.K", a spin-off of the Block 109 series, created by Ronan Toulhoat and
Vincent Brugeas published by Akileos.

MADADH #5 teaser

Here's a splash page from my contribution to the 5th issue of Madath, an italian comic series written and created by Tommaso De Stefanis and drawn by a bunch of really nice people (including Michel Mammi, Francesca Ciregia, Michele Bertilorenzi and my ex-teacher Matteo Scalera).

It's the first time i've drawn 24 consecutive pages in a row and I woudn't have made it without the assistance of my brother in arms Lorenzo Fornaciari (first time i've seen my pages inked by someone else but me, and i coudn't be more pleased).

I think the old markets, desert forts and uncomfortable camel rides i remember from my latest
trip to Rajahstan inspired these sketches.

Storyboard #11: Saila Vibes

Here's some storyboards i did for a series of Saila Vibes commercials.

I had so little time to work on these that i'm not particularly proud of the drawing, but it was 

fun to work closely with the director and i think the end result turned out pretty well!
